Week 1 Top 30 Wide Receivers Rankings - GURU STYLE!
Here are my top 30 Wide Receivers:
1. Andre Johnson - is this a shocker?
2. Reggie Wayne - It will be a shootout in Houston.
3. Randy Moss - He's getting old, but can easily handle Cincinnati's defensive backs.
4. Miles Austin - It won't be an easy game, but he should do fine.
5. Calvin Johnson - He loves to light up the Bears and he's healthy!
6. Larry Fitzgerald - I'm nervous to put him this high, but he deserves to be even higher. Week 1 will be an excellent barometer going forward.
7. Greg Jennings - Tough matchup, but he can burn the blitz.
8. Steve Smith (NYG) - Should have a huge game.
9. Roddy White - Not my favorite, but should put up good numbers.
10. DeSean Jackson - With Kolb he could explode week 1.
11. Brandon Marshall - New team, new player? Let's hope he dominates.
12. Michael Crabtree - Seattle is a great match up for Crabtree.
13. Dwayne Bowe - He will be targeted all day by Cassel in this assumed shootout.
14. Wes Welker - His knee could be problems, but expect plenty of touches.
15. Johnny Knox - Here we go, the Bears offense should shine week 1.
16. Hakeem Nicks - Carolina is no match for Nicks.
17. Santana Moss - The Redskins will likely throw all day to keep up with the Cowboys.
18. Pierre Garcon/Austin Collie - Not really sure which recevier will have the bigger impact, but start either one of them against Houston.
19. Chad Ochocinco - Won't have the biggest game against New England, but should score once.
20. Mike Sims-Walker - Denver is a dream match for Sims-Walker.
21. Steve Smith (Car) - Coming off the broken arm, but he should be just fine.
22. Devin Aromashodu - Could have a very big and surprising day.
23. Malcom Floyd - He will be the primary target for Rivers, but will lose targets to Naanee.
24. Braylon Edwards - Sanchez will depend on Edwards all game.
25. Donald Driver - He's old, but will still see plenty of targets form Rodgers.
26. Hines Ward - Not a good game for Ward. I'm unsure of Dixon, so consider what to do with Ward.
27. Anquan Boldin - Not the week to start Boldin with Revis covering him.
28. Jeremy Maclin - He is an exciting player to watch and I wouldn't doubt he has a TD by the end of week one.
29. Louis Murphy - The Raiders will be chasing Tennessee all game. Murphy will see plenty of targets.
30. Mike Wallace - Again, the Dixon issue concerns me, but he deserves to be started.
31. Laurent Robinson - The Rams will likely upset the Cardinals and if they do, Robinson will have a big day.
32. Mohamed Massaquoi - Expect some solid game stats, but even more garbage points from Massaquoi.
