8. Ryan Matthews - The rookie should hit the end zone in a weather friendly game.
9. Ahmad Bradshaw - The very suspect Colts defense will be no match for Bradshaw
10. Arian Foster - No repeat of week one, but he should still have a good day.

Week 1 Sleepers GURU STYLE!

Each week of the season I will bring you a small selection of my weekly sleepers.  I expect these player's performances to exceed expectations and fantasy points.  I base my findings on match ups, opposing defenses, injuries, skills, and a variety of other factors.

QUARTERBACKS

San Bradford, STL - The Rams can beat the Cardinals and I think they will.  If they do, expect Bradford to throw for 200 yards and 2 TDs in his debut performance at home.

Josh Freeman, TB - Freeman should have no issues with his bad thumb and should throw plenty on the Cleveland Browns.  Expect him and rookie Mike Williams to have big days.  220 yards and 2 TDs in the minimum expected.

WIDE RECEIVERS

Legedu Naanee, SD - I was all over this guy in the fantasy drafts and in week one I'm already calling him a sleeper.  With the arrival of Patrick Crayton some have let him go.  He has a great match up versus the Kansas City Chiefs and I expect 90-110 yards and at least one TD.

Mike Williams, TB - Williams should have a huge day dissecting the Browns secondary.  Expect over 100 yards receiving and a TD.

RUNNINGBACKS

Jerome Harrison, CLE - If the Browns want to have any chance against the Buccaneers they will need to run early and often.  Enter Harrison.  The Browns might lose bad, but it won't be because of Harrison.  Also consider RB/WR Joshua Cribbs this week.  Both can put up some great fantasy points.

Brandon Jacobs, NYG - Brush off that Bradshaw is starting.  Jacobs will get 10-15 carries and the goal line touches.  I expect 60-70 yards and 1-2 TDs.

TIGHT ENDS

Fred Davis, WAS - The Redskins will constantly run two tight end sets and with Cooley attracting most of the coverage, Davis will see plenty of targets.  I can't guarantee a TD, but he should have chances.

Jermaine Gresham, CIN - The big dog will have his day.  Gresham is a bad match up for the under sized Patriot defense.  If Palmer can find him, the rookie TE could have a great day.  I expect at the very least 60 yards and a TD, but that is conservative.

DEFENSES

Tampa Bay - Tampa will be at home and playing a bad Cleveland team.  If Delhomme is still throwing INTs all day, expect the Bucs to score on defense and keep Delhomme planted in the ground the entire game.

Chicago - I love Chicago's defense at home against the young Lions.  I expect them to give up points, but they also will capitalize on turnovers and Hester is due to run a kick back.

Week 1 Top 15 Tight Ends Rankings - GURU STYLE!

Here are the top 15 Tightends for Week 1:

1. Dallas Clark - Still the best.
2. Antonio Gates - The primary receiver in San Diego.
3. Vernon Davis - Big day planned for the big dog.
4. Jason Witten - For people who think he's lost, look at his 90+ receptions from last season.
5. Brent Celek - Should have a very active day.
6. Jermichael Finley - Rodgers will look for him in the red zone.
7. Chris Cooley - Might lose catches to Fred Davis, but will be a big target for McNabb.
8. Kellen Winslow - Should eat his old teams defense alive.
9. Jermaine Gresham (Sleeper) - He's the most exciting tight end to watch this year.  Yes I said exciting and tight end in the same sentence.
10. Greg Olsen - The Martz offense leaves him out, but Cutler won't.
11. Tony Gonzalez - Still a big target.
12. Owen Daniels - He has a repaired knee, but should still have a big game.
13. Kevin Boss - He's always a red zone target for Manning.
14. John Carlson - One of the better tight ends in the league on a bad team.  Garbage points.
15. Dustin Keller - It's time to put up for the stud tight end.

Week 1 Top 30 Wide Receivers Rankings - GURU STYLE!

Here are my top 30 Wide Receivers:

1. Andre Johnson - is this a shocker?
2. Reggie Wayne - It will be a shootout in Houston.
3. Randy Moss - He's getting old, but can easily handle Cincinnati's defensive backs.
4. Miles Austin - It won't be an easy game, but he should do fine.
5. Calvin Johnson - He loves to light up the Bears and he's healthy!
6. Larry Fitzgerald - I'm nervous to put him this high, but he deserves to be even higher.  Week 1 will be an excellent barometer going forward.
7. Greg Jennings - Tough matchup, but he can burn the blitz.
8. Steve Smith (NYG) - Should have a huge game.
9. Roddy White - Not my favorite, but should put up good numbers.
10. DeSean Jackson - With Kolb he could explode week 1.
11. Brandon Marshall - New team, new player?  Let's hope he dominates.
12. Michael Crabtree - Seattle is a great match up for Crabtree.
13. Dwayne Bowe - He will be targeted all day by Cassel in this assumed shootout.
14. Wes Welker - His knee could be problems, but expect plenty of touches.
15. Johnny Knox - Here we go, the Bears offense should shine week 1.
16. Hakeem Nicks - Carolina is no match for Nicks.
17. Santana Moss - The Redskins will likely throw all day to keep up with the Cowboys.
18. Pierre Garcon/Austin Collie - Not really sure which recevier will have the bigger impact, but start either one of them against Houston.
19. Chad Ochocinco - Won't have the biggest game against New England, but should score once.
20. Mike Sims-Walker - Denver is a dream match for Sims-Walker.
21. Steve Smith (Car) - Coming off the broken arm, but he should be just fine.
22. Devin Aromashodu - Could have a very big and surprising day.
23. Malcom Floyd - He will be the primary target for Rivers, but will lose targets to Naanee.
24. Braylon Edwards - Sanchez will depend on Edwards all game.
25. Donald Driver - He's old, but will still see plenty of targets form Rodgers.
26. Hines Ward - Not a good game for Ward.  I'm unsure of Dixon, so consider what to do with Ward.
27. Anquan Boldin - Not the week to start Boldin with Revis covering him.
28. Jeremy Maclin - He is an exciting player to watch and I wouldn't doubt he has a TD by the end of week one.
29. Louis Murphy - The Raiders will be chasing Tennessee all game.  Murphy will see plenty of targets.
30. Mike Wallace - Again, the Dixon issue concerns me, but he deserves to be started.
31. Laurent Robinson - The Rams will likely upset the Cardinals and if they do, Robinson will have a big day.
32. Mohamed Massaquoi - Expect some solid game stats, but even more garbage points from Massaquoi.

Week 1 Top 20 Runningback Rankings - GURU STYLE!

Week one presents some great match ups for NFL runningbacks.  Here are the top 20:

1. Chris Johnson - At home and dream match up against the Raiders.
2. Maurice Jones-Drew - All things point that his knee is healthy.
3.  LeSean McCoy - Great match ups and should see a ton of touches.
4. Frank Gore - Seattle.  He has a history of ruining Seattle's day.
5. Matt Forte - Forte is healthy and ready to take on Detroit's weak defense.
6. Stepehen Jackson - He will be used early and often against Arizona.
7. Ray Rice - The Jets have a tough defenses, but that won't stop Rice from getting his touches.
Ryan Matthews - The Chargers rookie should shine against KC.
8. DeAngelo Williams - The Giants don't offer much that can stop the D-train.
9. Shonn Greene - Time to put up Green.  He should have a great day.

10. Cedric Benson - Not my favorite, but good match up against the Patriots.
11. Rashard Mendenhall - This is a bit of a risk. MenDenhall has Dixon at QB and the defense could be focused on him.
12. Ronnie Brown - This is a bit of a stretch, but I like the match up this week.
13. C.J. Spiller - The Bills rookie will be tested by the Dolphins defense, but should end with a solid game.
14.  Javid Best - He will be the focal point of the Lions attack, not Megatron.
15.  Knownshon Moreno - He is healthy and ready to run.  Don't expect the biggest game, but he should do well.
16. Carnell Williams - He could turn out to be huge against a terrible Cleveland run defense.
17. Marion Barber - No bad foot and the starter in Dallas.
18.  Amhad Bradshaw - Bradshaw could have an exceptional day, but I'm not sure how many carries he will get with Jacobs there.
19. Jamaal Charles - Not sure what to expect, but he should put up reasonable numbers at worst.
20.  Hightower - He might get lost in the passing game, but could get some goal line chances.

Week 1 Top 15 Quarterback Rankings - GURU STYLE!

Here is the true start for the 2010 NFL season and my rankings.  Keep checking the blog as I will release my runningback, wide receiver, tight ends, and defenses rankings by friday night.

WEEK 1 QUARTERBACKS

1. Peyton Manning - He will be in a shootout all day with Matt Schaub.
2.  Tom Brady - He's at home and pumped up after getting a huge contract.  The Bengals have a solid D, but Brady will score often.
3. Matt Schaub - Not only will he throw at least 3 TDs, but Houston will win this game.
4. Aaron Rodgers - He has a challenge against Philly IN Philly.  Still, he should play well.
5. Jay Culter - The new Mike Martz offense is at home against a weak Detroit defense.
6. Eli Manning - Great match up for Eli.
7.Philip Rivers - I worry about this match up cause it is on the road, but expect the norm from Rivers.
8. Kevin Kolb - Big match up for the young starter.  Green Bay's defense isn't that good and even worse on the road.
9. Tony Romo - There is a chance this could be a defensive battle, but expect a big game for Romo.
10. David Garrard - Denver's defense is that bad.
11. Matt Cassel - e will be firing his gun from the start of this game.
12. Donovan McNabb - He will be in a shootout with Romo.
13. Vince Young - Not the best match up, but at home he should be fine.
14. Chad Henne - Welcome Brandon Marshall.  Buffalo will suffer.
15.  Derek Anderson - I don't trust him, but he has the weapons and a bad defense.
15. Alex Smith - Smith always worries folks, but it's Seattle.  Even Smith should have a 2 TD game.
