The True Guru's Week 9 Sleepers

Week 9 has six teams on the BYE and plenty of us will be looking for quality players. Here is my week 9 list of sleepers.

BYES: Bills, Browns, Vikings, Jets, Raiders, Rams

Quarterbacks

Jason Campbell, Was - The Redskins will get beat badly by Atlanta. Campbell should be passing all day and get plenty of garbage points.

David Garrard, Jac - Garrard is at home and going against a putrid defense in Kansas City. He could easily throw for 250 yards and 2 TDs. Assuming Jones-Drew doesn't hog all the TDs.

Runningbacks

Felix Jones, DAL - I expected more from Jones last week, and I'm not changing my tune this week. In order for the Cowboys to win in Philly they will need a good game from Jones. Look for the Cowboys to run often and for Jones to produce.

Steve Slaton, Hou - Weird calling him a sleeper, but most owners are probably going to bench him. Unless you have another solid runningback, go with Slaton. It's likely the Texans will be passing all day and when they pass, Slaton is the guy in the backfield.

Wide Receivers

Chris Henry, Cin - Palmer will throw often against the Ravens and Henry should easily get past the aging Ravens secondary for a long touchdown.

Jabar Gaffney, Den - With the Steelers focusing attention on Marshall, Gaffney will get allot of targets and should end up with a TD.

Tight Ends

Fred Davis, Was - Davis is taking over for Cooley this week. The 2nd round draft pick has the skills to produce and should see plenty of targets from Campbell.

Martellus Bennett, Dal - Bennett still hasn't done much this year, but he is a constant target in the red zone and the Cowboys will use the two tight end set a ton against Philly.

Defenses

San Francisco - San Fran plays well at home and they have the mistake laden Titans in town. San Francisco can end up having a big point producing day on defense.

Seattle Seahawks - Seattle has the Lions in town. Seattle plays very well at home and should be able to hold the Lions to less then 10 points and produce some solid fantasy points.
