The True Guru's Week 5 Sleepers
There are allot of QBs on the BYE this week including Drew Brees. There are plenty of other good players as well, so lets check out who can help you beat the BY bug.
BYES: New Orleans, Chicago, Green Bay, San Diego
Quarterbacks
Matt Hasselbeck, SEA - He is coming off his broken ribs and is a bit of a risk. He's facing the 31 ranked pass defense and is at home. He should have a huge game with Julius Jones being useless. Look for 3 TDs and 275 yards.
Trent Edwards, BUF - This one has big game written all over it for Edwards. T.O. should be all over the place and Jackson and Fine could get into the passing TD mix as well. Look for 200 yards and 2-3 TDs for Edwards at home.
Runningbacks
Jerome Harrison, CLE - With Edwards gone, the Browns will lean on Harrison to control the clock. Start him with confidence. He should get in the end zone and get 90+ yards.
Ahmad Bradshaw , NYG- The Giants will tear up the Raider run defense and probably not pass much the second half. Expect Bradshaw to see 15 carries and easily break 100 yards. He should score, but that isn't for sure.
Wide Receivers
Andre Caldwell, CIN - The Baltimore Vs. Cincinnati game could prove to be a shoot out and Caldwell will play a big role in that game.
Austin Miles/Sam Hurd, DAL - With Roy Williams likely out with a rib injury, Miles and Hurd will see allot more action. If you have either and need a starter, go with them.
Tight Ends
Martellus Bennett, DAL - I'm calling Bennett again. As soon as the Cowboys and Jason Garrett figure out how good this kid is, his numbers will jump.
Sean Ryan, KC - Ryan should get plenty of looks against the Cowboys. Cassel won't have much time to throw, so Ryan should get 6-8 catches and a TD.
Defenses
Buffalo Bills - The Bills are sixth in the league in sacks and play very well at home. This week they have Derek Anderson and the Cleveland Browns. The Bills can easily score a turnover TD in this game and sack Anderson all day.
Seattle Seahawks - The Seahawks are a completely different defense at home. They have the Jaguars in town this week and if Hasselbeck throws successfully this game will turn into a shootout and that doesn't bode well for the Jaguars and Jones-Drew. Start Seattle if you have no other defenses.
