Early July Blues

The early July Blues is the only time of the year where there really isn't anything exciting going on in the NFL. It is for that reason that you really shouldn't start reading into some of the teams that are still going to make changes. I number of free agents are out there and they will stay there throughout training camp as they are looking to stay rested for the season. So, Favre will be a Viking, Marvin Harrison could land there as well and look for the Raiders to maybe go after Amani Toomer. Others that will sign in august is Derrick Brooks and Willie McGinest among many others. So, these moves will change some teams out looks and fantasy potential. A lot of people are playing fantasy leagues through July but don't play money leagues. Save that for the last week in august or first week in September as there are lots of players that will fight for starting jobs and teams will have to show their hands a little; like the cowboys with Felix Jones who might even have more fantasy potential then anyone else in the cowboy organization with his multi-purpose touches.
